He was not at all involved in the Little Bighorn incident because Custer decided he no longer needed to use the knowledge of his scouts. "My family has found several photos of both [father] Thomas and Benjamin. One of Thomas is among a group of chiefs that traveled to Washington D.C. for a treaty in 1858.
